I own a few of these model cases and can say that they have held up extremely well after years of use, whereas I’m sure other cases would have failed.

For those of you with folding headphones, it makes sense to buy this case style. Buying a full-size case means taking up more space in your bag. This Mpow case is well made and fits most headphones with collapsable headbands.
It shares many desirable features that make the Slappa case great.
You get a semi-rigid construction that should be strong enough to keep the headphones protected from anything other than large crushing forces. Small drops and knocks should be no problem for this one.

Pelican cases are my personal choice for carrying my earphones. It has every feature you want; it’s small, strong, and waterproof. Oh, and it costs just north of ten dollars on most marketplaces.
It’s a hardshell case constructed of combined polymers and ribbed for structural integrity. It is highly resistant to crushing and impacts. It’s a tank in which to store your earbuds.
If you are carrying any set of earphones over $100, this is the case that I suggest you get.
