Unsure of what to do next they sell, pack up and end up in a commune with a quirky bunch of free spirits. Also with Malin Akerman, Justin Theroux, Alan Alda and Kathryn Hahn. Directed by David Wain. [1:40]

SEX/NUDITY 8 - Many nude men and nude women run from a speeding car and we see bare breasts and chests, abdomens, genitals (male and female and with and without pubic hair) and buttocks. A fully nude man walks onto a roadway as a husband and his wife are in a car driving toward him (we see his penis, bare back, buttocks and chest). A fully nude man squats down next to a car that has overturned and we see his penis and scrotum clearly. A fully nude man stands next to a bed where a man sleeps with his wife (we see the man's penis) and the sleeping man is alarmed when he wakes up and sees the other man's penis near his face.
People are shown skinny-dipping and we see one woman fully nude (her bare breasts are visible) and a man wearing jockey shorts jumps in water and then removes his shorts under the water (his bare chest and abdomen are shown). A woman removes her top during a protest and we see her and several other women featured on a TV news report with their bare breasts diffused (a man also joins in and his bare chest is shown). Two nude men are shown on Segway (their bare buttocks, back and legs are visible). Two men (one nude except for what looks like a jock strap over his genitals) squash grapes in a barrel.
A photograph is shown of a man and a woman having sex (the woman's bare breast, leg and hip are visible) with the man kissing the woman's neck as she straddles him (we see his bare side and arm). A husband and his wife kiss, the man closes the door and it is implied that they have sex. A husband and his wife kiss, we then see them in bed as the man rolls off the woman and it is implied that they have had sex (we see her bare shoulders and upper chest and his bare chest and back).
A husband and his wife kiss in several scenes. An unmarried woman kisses a married man. A husband and his wife (both are fully clothed) lie on a bed together and he playfully thrusts on top of her (no sex is implied). A husband and his wife lie in bed together (he is wearing a T-shirt and boxers and she is wearing a bathrobe), he says he wants to take her bathrobe off, he moves on top of her and they kiss and both fall asleep (no sex is implied). A husband and his wife are shown sleeping in bed together (the woman is wearing a camisole that reveals bare shoulders and the man a T-shirt). A husband and his wife sleep in bed fully clothed.
Women wear low-cut tops that reveal cleavage in several scenes. A woman wearing a camisole and pedi-pants covered with a cardigan (her cleavage and bare legs are visible) walks through a party looking for her husband. A man watches as a woman performs yoga poses and when she stands up we see her nipples showing through her close-fitting outfit.
A married man tells an unmarried woman "I'm ready to have sex"; they sit on a bed together, and he utters several sexually explicit comments until the woman leaves the room and another woman enters and starts to say similarly explicit things to the man until he leaves (no sex is implied). An unmarried man says, "Let's make love" to a married woman and leans close to kiss her, the woman pulls away and the man suggests that they "make love without touching"; he begins to moan and the woman leaves.
A man tells another man, "I just made love with your wife... thank you." An unmarried woman tells a married man that "we should make love some time," she goes on to talk about the community having "open sexual boundaries" and tells him to "think about being inside me." A man says that a woman told him that she asked another man to "intercourse with" her. A man stands in front of a mirror and repeats numerous sexually explicit phrases as if he is speaking to a woman about having sex with her. A wife confronts her husband about his numerous dalliances and he says, "I have to cheat" and claims to be doing it for her; she asks for a divorce. A husband confronts his wife about her having sex with another man, they argue and she tells him that he has to go and have sex with a woman for them. Three men on a TV news set make several suggestive remarks about a woman (also on the TV news set) removing her top and baring her breasts (suggesting that they would not complain if she were to do something like that). A man sings a sexually suggestive song for a woman. A woman talks about her husband being blind and that his other senses are enhanced including his sense of touch and she makes a remark about being able to "get him there with a flick on my finger." A woman talks about having a sexual stimulation device and that it is clean because she puts it in the dishwasher. A woman makes up a documentary storyline about vampires having sex with penguins. A woman says to several people that her menstrual cycle has started again and that that it is a miracle because her uterus is in a jar. A man says to another man's wife, "your body is ridonkulous" and makes a suggestive gesture as he hugs her. A pregnant woman talks about fearing that her partner will not find her attractive with the changes her body is going through. A woman says, "I would still be in p*rn" and makes a crude sexual gesture with her hand.
A man sits on a toilet (we see his bare hip and thigh), another man enters the room and talks to him about constipation, and then a woman enters the room, rubs his bare knees and sits down to wait for him to finish. A woman milks a goat and we see its teats.

VIOLENCE/GORE 4 - A pregnant woman squats down, moans and thrusts her hips while telling a man that she is going to have her baby; the woman pulls a slime-covered baby from between her legs and we later see her carrying the baby and her husband carrying a pot containing the still attached placenta.
A husband and his wife are in a car speeding in reverse to get away from a fully nude man standing in the road (please see the Sex/Nudity category for more details); the car speeds onto an incline and overturns (neither the man nor the woman are injured). A man, talking on a cell phone, walks into an intersection and is struck by a taxi; the man is thrown onto the hood of the car and slides off without being injured (we hear the driver yelling). A man stands in front of a car to keep it from passing, he climbs on top of the car and half way into the sun roof when the driver steps on the gas, speeds through an area where people are gathered, people jump out of the way and the car drives into a pond (we see the driver carrying the other man out of the water and they are both unharmed). A man falls off a shed roof and hits the ground hard (we see him uninjured later). A man speeds away in another man's car with the other man chasing behind on foot.
A man kicks another man in the chest, then straddles him on the ground and slaps him in the face repeatedly; they wrestle and a woman grabs one of the men, telling him to let go of the other man, which he does. A man punches another man in the face and complains that he hurt his wrist. A wife slaps her husband after he makes disparaging comments about her. A woman slips and falls out of a wine barrel and lands on the ground hard (we hear her moaning but do not see injuries).
Many FBI agents mill through an office, arrest several people and collect documents and we hear that the business is being shut down.
After drinking a tea that is said to have hallucinogenic properties, we see people's psychedelic hallucinations including a man's face with mouths instead of eyes, a woman floating through a color-filled sky and a woman talks about the grass crying; one woman stands high in a tree, says that she can fly, jumps and a man catches her before she hits the ground.
A man breaks a plate on a table and yells until another man breaks a plate, yells and storms out of the house with his wife. A woman yells at a man after he kills a fly and she and several others rant about killing living things. We see a car submerged in a pond and two men argue about how it got there.
A husband and his wife argue and yell at each other in a few scenes. Two men yell and release their anger. A husband and his wife argue in front of several other people. A man yells at several people and calls them names.
During a documentary film about penguins we hear a woman's voice saying, "We are raping these animals and murdering them." After watching a documentary about the plight of penguins, a woman says, "I want to slit my wrists." A woman talks about tricking her brain into believing that she is happy. A husband tells his wife to "knock 'em dead" at a presentation. A man says of several of his friends, "They're all mostly dead."
A man sits on a toilet, another man enters the room and talks to him about constipation, and then a woman enters the room, rubs his bare knees and sits down to wait for him to finish. A woman squats down in the grass and presumably goes to the bathroom (she is covered by a poncho) and we see her grab a leaf off a nearby shrub, presumably to use to wipe herself. A man presumably flatulates in a car and a woman reacts to the smell by opening her window. A woman talks about having "verbal diarrhea." A man makes the sound of flatulence with his mouth a couple of times. A man talks about his job being supplying port-a-potties to construction sites. CAVEATS

Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.

We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.

Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
